In this tutorial, we’ll see how to use WP Video Robot – Front End Submissions.

First of all, head to WPVR addons and enable the addon in order to use it.Step-1-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

– ADDON OPTIONS

Autopublish Submited Videos :
Turn this on if you don’t want to review submited videos before publishing them.

Enable posting categories on Frontend :
Enable this option if you want to give the visitor the choice of which category he’ll submit video to.
If disabled, submited videos will all be assigned to ‘Default Posting  Catgeries’ defined below.

Skip Duplicates : 
Enable this option, to avoid submiting an already imported video.

Allowed Posting Categories :
Pick one or more categories that will be available on frontend for the submiter.

Default Posting Categories :
Pick one or more categories that will be assigned by default to submited videos.

Enable Captcha :
Enable this option, to add a captcha field to the frontend form, to verify if the submiter is a human.

Step-2-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

Restrict Posting to logged Users :
Select whether if all users, including guests can submit videos, or only registered and logged users.Step-4-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

Author to assign guest posts to :
If you allow guest users to submit videos, you can choose which registered author will be the author of guests submited videos.

Restrict Posting to some user roles : 
You can pick one or more user role, that will be allowed to submit videos from frontend.Step-5-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

– CUSTOM MESSAGES

Closed Submission Message :
You can enter here the custom message that should show up when frontend submissions are closed.
Not that you can here use images, HTML and even shortcodes.

Submit Success Message :
You can enter here the custom message that should show up when a video has been successfully submited.
Not that you can here use images, HTML and even shortcodes.

Step-7-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

Login Restriction Message :
You can enter here the custom message that should appear to a guest user when submissions are restricted to logged users.
Not that you can here use images, HTML and even shortcodes. You can show up a login form into your custom message by using the shortcode [wpvr_fes_login_form].

Role Restriction Message :
You can enter here the custom message that should appear to a certain user role that is not allowed to submit videos from frontend.
Not that you can here use images, HTML and even shortcodes.

Step-8-WPVR-Front-End-Submission

Last step is to implement the frontend submission form on a new or existing page.
Simply put the shortcodecode [wpvr_fes_form] and then Click on Update or Publish button if it’s a new page.
