Where to find Youtube API Keys

Why you should create your own Youtube API key?
WP Video Robot has an API connection wizard that makes API access really easy. However, API access is revoked each 24 hours for security reasons. We strongly recommend that you use the Advanced API Credentials mode to keep WP Video Robot always connected.
Just follow these steps to get your Youtube API key.

1/ First of all navigate to : https://console.developers.google.com/.
On the header click Create a project … from the ‘Select a project’ dropdown.cron_step_1

2/ On the dialog that pops up, enter a name for your API access, and hit the Create button.

3/ It takes a while for the project to be created. Once it is done, you’ll be redirected to the Library page, with all available Google APIs.
Under the Youtube APIs list, click on Youtube Data API.

4/ You’ll be then redirected to the YoutubeData API V3 page. Click on the ENABLE button.

5/ Click then on Credentials on the left sidebar.

6/ On the dialog window that shows up, click on Create credentials, then select API key (first option )from the dropdown.

7/ Copy your generated API key.

8/ Back to your wp-admin area, head to WP Video Robot Options page. Under Advanced options, select Use API Advanced Credentials in the dropdown menu. Then paste your Youtube API Key in the the ‘Youtube Credentials’ input.

9/ That’s it ! WP Video Robot is ready to work non stop 🙂
